Seasoned technology consultant with 30+ years of hands-on experience delivering IT solutions for small businesses and professional clients. Founder and President of Consultant Services since 1992, providing website design, custom software development, database administration, network support, and IT training across the Michiana region. Former adjunct faculty at Indiana Tech and the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. U.S. Navy veteran.
- Founded and operate Consultant Services, providing full-spectrum IT consulting to small businesses for over 30 years.
- Services include website design and hosting, custom software development, database administration, network/hardware installation, IT training, and ongoing technical support.
- Provide Informix DBA services to organizations requiring client-server database support without dedicated on-staff resources.
- Executed major migration project updating a legacy Windows application to connect to Informix running on Linux, updating all scripts, 4GL programs, and Java to newest Informix version.
- Taught Management Information Systems and Computer Information Systems to undergraduate students.
- Taught Microsoft Access, Excel, and Dreamweaver to undergraduate business students.
- Delivered Microsoft Access and Dreamweaver training to Notre Dame faculty, staff, and students.
- Supported DataDental implementations, data conversions, and Informix DBA requirements.
- Served as Project Manager for a large vertical market application; took on lead programmer role during installation.
- Managed a staff of five IT professionals.
- Led large-scale data conversion into Informix DBMS and full replacement of Sun UNIX server infrastructure.
- Developed a secure web portal for group administrators, providers, and brokers; delivered Y2K-compliant internal software.
- Provided software development support under U.S. Navy contracts.
- ~94 weeks of instruction in analog/digital electronics and shipboard weapons systems maintenance.
- Additional roles: instructor trainer, Drug & Alcohol Program Manager, legal advisor.
